Where Can I Find Beginner Bass Lessons for Free?

I’m a relatively new musician who started playing drums 2 years ago, I have already advanced to the point where i can play at a large event. Keep in mind i play for my church, the music department does not have much members and so when i joined 2 years ago it helped the department but as it stands we only have one in training Bass player, and all the ppl who wanna join wanna play the drums, so now i want to start Bass. I’ve always loved it but my teacher suggested i not start drums and Bass at the same time so i didn’t now its time to take up the second one.
I do not have access to a credit card or any way of paying for it so free lessons would be preferable

Drum Kits and Lessons?

I played drums in a school band when I was in middle school and I just played on a snare. I was considering taking it up again but I have a few questions.

1) Should I by a whole kit, a snare or just a practice pad to start with? When I was in band we got practice pads.
-If so, would an electric or acoustic be more suiting for a beginner? And can I have a list of good brands.
-My price limit is around 600.

2) Should I take lessons? I play Guitar, Bass, Violin and piano so I know all my theory. Is it worth paying for lessons or should I just get a beginner book?

Beginner Piano Lessons for the Young Ones

Beginner piano lessons for children involves a lot more than dropping your child off and letting him/her bang away on a piano. Consideration for the purpose of providing these lessons is only a small part of a larger picture. Benefits involved with the piano lessons have to be discussed. There is also the dilemma as to which teaching style is most appropriate for your child. How will you be able to tell if your child should ditch the piano and pick up the drums instead? The following paragraphs should help you in finding out these answers. BenefitsThere are a plethora of benefits brought on by taking piano lessons. Children usually don’t have much experience with an instrument when they begin piano lessons. The piano is a great first instrument for most. Music appreciation is a tremendous benefit. Kids can learn all about the classical composers while learning to play some of these songs on their own. Hand-eye coordination is a benefit that all children can’t get too much of. This increases fine motor skills tremendously. Another benefit is gaining concentration. Teaching StylesBeginner piano lessons for kids are taught in many different ways. It will depend on the maturity of the child. Children, who are just starting to recognize colors, might start with using color coded guides. These guides allow children to match up the colored notes with the key that lines up on the colored chart. If children aren’t quite ready for colors, there is always the Suzuki method. This method involves listening to songs and then playing what was heard. Children, who have mastered colors, might try learning with numbers instead. There are books with pictures of numbered piano keys. These keys match sheet music with the same numbers on it, arranged in a specific pattern across the paper. Most small children really enjoy matching, so this might seem like a fun game to them. Is it the Correct Instrument for your Child? It’s hard to tell if the piano is right for your child, unless there are tell-tale signs. These signs might include acting out, saying he/she is bored, not wanting to go to the lessons, etc. If any of these signs surface, observe lessons and see if you can figure out why these actions/reactions might be occurring. Parents are usually in tune with their own children and can tell when something is wrong. Maybe they aren’t ready for the piano. Only you will be able to know.
