What Kind of Beginner Drums Should I Get?

can you guys tell me some good drum brands for beginners. i do mean beginner because im just going to start a couple lessons and when/if i get into it, ill have a brand to rely on. can you tell me the brands, the usual price range for them, and some sites that are reliable to get from. or ill just go to a music store but whatever. no sketchy sites please

    Try going to a reputable music store and ask to speak with the manager. Explain that you’re a beginner and you don’t want to invest too much money at this point and all you really need is a basic kit. Pricing will vary depending on which brand you choose. Ask someone you know that has previous buying experience and better yet, a drummer. Brands: Ludwig, Tama, Yamaha, etc. Try out as many kits as you can and what you feel most comfortable with.
