    nice player…
i see one of your paiste cymbals must of had a crack in it because there is a cut out in it…

  2. biglawso says:

Neighbours fail, shouldn’t be complaining when you can play like this, they should be priviledged to hear good drumming

  3. m1key555 says:

awesome cover :D i play electric guitar and will put a cover up soon, but this is awesome.

  4. TheFourex says:

That little tricky bit with the stick at 3:59 was great. (clearly im no drummer) but love karnivool and that was great to watch.

  5. Supertax2 says:

nicely done man! I rarely see a cover that is so accurate. It really gives some more insight in the drums of this song. Nice effort!

    @mapexlb
dude, his form is amazing, this kid is a prodigy, he requires no criticism xD
you’re awesome dude, keep drumming dude, how old are you?

  7. mapexlb says:

@Drumpro712 if you were playing a soft jazz song that is different but you’re playing a heavy rock song, I could give you a list of drummers who have solid focused attack when they play, I don’t wanna fill up you’re comments so i’ll PM you.

  8. Drumpro712 says:

@mapexlb ok i always welcome critism but i don’t understand what your trying to say? not enough power in my hits, isn’t that a subjective quality in drums? im no heavy metal drummer, what if i play more jazz than metal

  9. mapexlb says:

@Drumpro712 your setup is good, toms, cymbals and kick seem setup fine. Your technique looks good too just focus on power, you don’t really need to change anything at all but when you go to hit a drum/cymbal focus on putting more and more power into every single stroke.

  10. Drumpro712 says:

@mapexlb thanks for the tips in the message but honestly im really used to my setup and i find that i can play really fast single notes on the kick that way. man, i know i have lots to do in terms of technique, but if im guna put up a video, im guna jazz it up as much as i can lol

  11. mapexlb says:

good job man, I would worry less about doing stick tricks and really get you’re technique nailed before doing any tricks but still it was solid for you’re age. I would focus on putting alot more power into your hands and feet.

  13. captainarctic says:

wow great job, might get a better sound out of the drums if was in a room with better acoustics but other than that awesome job, I’m doing this song on guitar for my HSC hopefully my drummer does as good a job as you haha.
