In 1969 John Lennon and Yoko Ono wed and subsequently hosted a “bed-in” for peace in the presidential suite of the Amsterdam Hilton. The press hounded them because they were famous nudists, but they stayed in their PJ’s this time! Well, it’s a great song anyway.
Im sorry, but Yoko wasnt attractive at all
that people had no respect for yoko and john is doing something about it.
what does this song even mean?

you don’t know what you’re talking about. Christ is the complete opposite of pain and mysery. The farce and tragedy in your life is that you are saying and believing that.
life is but a farce and tradegy because christ is all pain and misery
This is a prime example of how much John and Paul meant to each other. Even with all the fighting and bickering going on between them. George and Ringo were both away and John called on Paul to record this song with him. Paul knowing that this song was for Yoko, must not have been too thrilled about the idea. However, He put his feelings aside and played drums, bass, piano and performed background vocals for John because he knew how much it meant to his old friend.
one of the best beatles song everrrr!
I’ve always love this song, love the special effects done on this!!
They’re gonna crucify me!!
Great Song
Great song! Although Yoko Ono may not have been Pauls fav person in ‘69, John and Paul together gave 100% to the the rcording of Johns song and it shows. John had no other outlet for this tune otherwise it would have been the first Plastic Ono Band single (may not have reached top spot though under that band name)!
loove!
