Whoa, this grooves baby! You got it! At last, we finally know to whom Jeff P. willed his talent after he passed!
I really enjoyed this song. Your playing style is appropriate for this tune and not so technical that the average drummer could enjoy following along. Your dynamics were rich and pleasing. Thanks for the post and for keeping the memory of your friend alive in music. I lost a close musician friend not so long ago as well. Keep up the good work.
Great stuff!…. love the fill tip on another vid…. BTW, what kind of kit are you playing…. what kind of shells & heads? Peace, GK
Es una lástima perder a alguien, sobre todo si es una persona virtuosa y talentosa como Jeff!
Mis palabras de condolencia a sus familiares y amigos!
God bless you!

Riktigt skitbra sväng. Märks vart influenserna ligger. Kanonbra helt enkelt…

I could sit and listen to your playing all day. You’re a very talented musician. I think even Jeff would admire you.

hey peter, you’ve got a golden groove. what snare are you using? very warm. i like the tone of it.
Nice job, and for good reason! I’ll have to post some good shuffle grooves they are fun.
What do you use for a camera?
Petar
Thanks. I had the good fortune to take lessons from Mike for a couple of years before his health declined. Knowing him, he’d be cringing at hearing some of this, but that’s Mike. I heard him a bunch in the last years of his life and the best he ever sounded was the last time I heard him, just before he was in the hospital. he’d been practicing for a couple of months. He was just dancing on the fretboard. Amazing. This sounds like his Larry Carlton persona. Nice tune, nice groove. Thanks.
